Fun at Breckenridge Brewery
Do you like the musical works of Beethoven, but don't like to get dressed up for an evening at a traditional symphony? Beethoven and Brews is a different type of event that just might be what you're looking for. The event will be held at The Farmhouse at the Breckenridge Brewery, March 18th. Breckenridge Brewery is the third-oldest craft brewery in the state. The works of Beethoven will be performed by a Colorado Symphony ensemble. Each attendee will receive beers of their choice from Breckenridge Brewery's extensive tap list and light hors d'oeuvres. The event is designed to be more casual than traditional concerts, meaning that there will be less sitting room and more standing room. Walk around with your beers, talk to your friends and make new ones. Background noise will occur during the performance.
That's right, the musicians understand this is more of an interactive experience than a traditional concert and encourage you to talk and move around. The Colorado Symphony is one of the leading orchestras in the United States. The group performs more than 150 concerts annually at the Boettcher Concert Hall in downtown Denver and across the entire state of Colorado. The Colorado Symphony boasts eighty full-time musicians, representing more than a dozen nations, and regularly welcomes the most celebrated artists from the world of symphonic music and beyond. They are known to entertain more than 300,000 people from all walks of life every season, performing a range of musical styles, from traditional to contemporary.
