Haunts at The Denver Botanic Gardens
Are you ready to conjure your courage and embrace the thrill of the unknown? This Halloween season, check out the Ghosts in the Garden event at the Denver Botanic Gardens, where you can wander our dimly lit paths after hours and embark on your own ghostly adventure. Stroll at your own pace as our talented storytellers share spine-chilling tales of real staff encounters, security guard stories, and the fascinating history of this site, once known as "The Boneyard." For the truly daring, step inside the Waring House—a stunning Beaux-Arts mansion—and uncover the secrets it may hold.
This self-guided tour allows you to visit storytellers in any order you choose, making it a flexible experience perfect for those seeking a little excitement. Plan to spend about 1 hour and 30 minutes exploring, with new stories unfolding every quarter-hour. Children aged 12 and up are welcome, but parents are responsible for their supervision at all times, as this tour is not suitable for younger kids. Please note that timed tickets must be purchased in advance, as availability is limited for each time slot between 5:30 and 10:30 p.m. Tickets will not be sold onsite, and remember, even though this is a Halloween-themed event, masks and costumes are not permitted.
