Earth Illuminated is a journey into which nature and digital media come together. It is also an immersive experience, which means you can get up close and personal with the art. The 13,000-square-foot space is full of art depicting our planet's beauty from air, land, and sea. Exploring these large-scale interactive art installations will forever alter the way you perceive art and nature. Expect to see larger-than-life butterflies, insects, and a giant garden of grass and flowers. Denver Pavilions is the perfect location for Earth Illuminated. Originally opened in 1998, the mall has over 40 stores and restaurants. An open-air mall, the Pavilions takes advantage of Denver's many sunny days. The Denver Pavilions also has a well-lit underground garage with accessible parking spaces and elevator access which can be accessed from Welton Street between 15th and 16th Streets. The mall also houses a popular, 15-screen movie theater. Because of these great amenities, this is also the stage for many other Denver events including the best place to see the fireworks on new years.
