The Longmont Museum is full of kid-friendly and kid-focused events. One of the most anticipated events this month is their Lego Build Night. Playing with LEGO bricks is excellent for child development because it enhances fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. It also encourages creativity and problem-solving, as children design and build various structures. Additionally, LEGO play promotes spatial awareness and teaches the basics of engineering and architecture. Working with LEGO bricks can foster patience and perseverance, as children learn to follow instructions and see their projects through to completion.
