Unique Homes for Sale in Colorado

Quirks and oddities in a home can make or break a home buyer’s experience. They have the power to captivate the right buyer or act as a deterrent to someone who would have otherwise signed the deal. Does your home have an irregularly shaped closed? A bedroom with two doors that exit to the same hallway? Antiquated land-lines or laundry-shoots? If you’re selling your home, your agent should be able to help highlight the best features in your home (even the quirky ones) to attract the right buyer.

For example, suppose you are trying to sell your home, condo, or town home, that doesn’t have an adequate place for a separate washer and dryer. You have a two-in-one washer-dryer combo that you’ve used for years as a great solution. Home buyers can easily be deterred from an otherwise wonderful home, by something like this. This type of appliance is not traditional, and people are typically afraid of change. With a quirk like this, there are only two things you can do. You can feature the appliance and appeal to buyers that might like that sort of thing or minimize its effect on the overall appearance of the home. There are similar stories in Colorado in which sellers hid the appliance with a tablecloth and knickknacks which made a house that was not selling, sell within days!
