This holiday season, Denver’s skyline will be transformed into a canvas for the inaugural Mile High Drone Show. From Nov. 22 to Dec. 31, 2024, 400 drones will light up the night sky with dazzling, holiday-themed animations. This free 15-minute spectacle begins at 7 p.m. each evening, bringing to life scenes of Santa and his reindeer, Denver’s iconic landmarks like the Mile High Tree and Union Station, and even whimsical nods to local favorites like the Blue Bear and Blucifer. Spanning nearly 400 feet high and 500 feet wide, the show promises to be a state-of-the-art celebration that blends holiday magic with innovative technology.

Sports fans can enjoy special performances tailored to Denver’s teams. On Monday, Dec. 2, the show kicks off at 5:20 p.m. before the Denver Broncos’ Monday Night Football game. The following night, Dec. 3, the performance shifts to 5:30 p.m., and on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, a festive show at 7 p.m. sets the stage for the Denver Nuggets’ game. Ring in the new year on Dec. 31 with a 5:30 p.m. display before the Colorado Avalanche’s New Year’s Eve game.
